Friday, August 14, 2020, 09:00am - 05:00pm

For those of you whose congregations are not familiar with it, Spirit Play is a resource you may want to investigate. It is designed to be flexible, for use in smaller congregations where the number and ages of little ones attending on Sundays. It's all about story-telling and response, and is modeled on the Christian program, Godly Play. The materials required vary and are limited only by imagination and creativity; an assortment of art supplies is also required.

A training has been arranged for August, hoping that we'll be able to assemble by then. It's a one-day session on Friday, August 14th, or on Saturday the 15th. There is a $20 discount to entice people to register on Friday. There is also a $25 discount for registrations before July 21st. The alternative is an online version, but the two-hour version would be a pale substitute for a full day of learning.

You can learn more about the program at https://www.spirit-play.com/about/ or from a congregation that has used it over the years. Please pass the word to those who might like to teach, and no, we don't expect registrations before June. There is a limit of sixteen per session.
