Grant Application Form

1. Applications must be submitted by November 30, 2018, to be eligible for grants presented at the annual NTUUC Awards Luncheon in January 2019.

2. Applications can be submitted using an online form at or using the document at the same link; please send a pdf to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. All exhibits should also be in digital or scanned form; for all questions or clarifications you can write to the same address.

3. On the downloaded form, space can be expanded to fit your answers. Please use this method rather than attachments wherever possible.

4. If you are seeking funding for more than one project, please submit a separate application for each.
5. NTUUC also has a loan program, which would be more appropriate for projects such as land purchase or major construction (more than $10,000).


Who among your congregation is serving on NTUUC committees, and which ones? Committee participation is NOT required for NTUUC grants, and is not being used to determine awards, at this time.

Is Applicant qualified under 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code? If answer is “No,” state plans to correct this.

The Grant

Describe the project and attach any exhibits that help describe or give background information about the project. If applicable, describe how the Applicant and its members have participated in this or similar projects in the past, or will participate in the project in the future, if funded.

State the total cost of project and the amount and source of matching funds, if any.
How will this project contribute to the strengthening or growth of membership of Applicant or to the strengthening or growth of Unitarian Universalism in North Texas?
If this application is for a community outreach program, describe in detail how the Applicant and its members will actively participate in the program and any prior active participation by the Applicant or its members in this or similar programs.


How will you know if this project has been successful? How will you measure its achievement? Your goals might include an increase of membership, people served, building access/use, community awareness of your congregation, or a decrease in utility costs.


A summary of Applicant’s income and expenses for past three years
Membership numbers of Applicant for last three years.
Copy of Applicant’s long-range plan, if one exists. If one does not exist, Applicant may consider requesting funds for such a plan.
Any other material that would help the committee to understand the project.
